Shell Envy is a specially formulated mineral-based supplement designed to promote a robust and healthy carapace in shrimp. The carapace plays a crucial role in protecting their vital organs and maintaining their appearance. As shrimp grow, they molt, shedding their old carapace to reveal a softer, new layer that needs time to harden. Providing a mineral-based supplement like Shell Envy ensures that shrimp receive the necessary nutrients to harden their new shell effectively and beautifully. It's important to avoid overfeeding, as excessive mineral intake can lead to molting problems.
Made from 100% natural and organic ingredients, Shell Envy features a high mineral content blend of kale, mulberry, nettle, dandelion, moringa, spinach, spirulina, chlorella, bee pollen, kelp, alfalfa, wheatgrass, black walnut, and other beneficial components that shrimp love. It also includes essential nutrients and minerals such as beta-glucan, calcium carbonate, montmorillonite, amino acids, trace minerals, chitin, yeast, and probiotics.
This pellet food is designed to be easy to break apart, allowing precise control over feeding amounts. It sinks quickly, and shrimp will eagerly break it apart and distribute it throughout the tank. If leftover food is found after 3-4 hours, it indicates overfeeding, so reduce the pellet size or feeding frequency.
Shell Envy is also enjoyed by snails, crayfish, and crabs, making it a versatile choice for your freshwater aquarium. For best results, we recommend feeding Shell Envy based on the guide below.
Feeding Instructions: Feed 1-2 small pellets once a week, depending on the size of your shrimp colony, as a substitute for other foods. Remove any uneaten food after 2-3 hours.

My shrimp go nuts over this stuff. One shrimp grabbed it out of the bottom of my feeding tube before it landed on the bottom of the tank. I will be keeping this on hand all the tine.
