Cryptocoryne Lutea

Rendering loop-subscriptions

Cryptocoryne Lutea likes to stand up, as opposed to flopping over horizontally. Cryptocoryne Lutea requires a bit more light than the typical Crypt. Depending on lighting, either the leaves will grow tall towards the light or more horizontal. Lutea can be propagated by uprooting the whole plant and plucking baby plants from the side of the main root.

Cryptocoryne Lutea

Very nice plant
I was able to divide it and put it in two different aquariums
Crypts in general seem to like my water and they always do well in my tanks
All the plants I have received from Flips are always healthy and I have never had any problems with them

Arrived In Great Condition

This is my first Crypt. I ordered 3 of these about a month ago. I was fully prepared for them to melt, but so far, no melt (fingers crossed)! They look great.

Crypts and snails

I picked up some crypt lutea, crypt flamingo, Java fern and a few apple snails. Delivery was delayed a full weekend due to USPS not waiting a minute after they knocked, regardless everything survived. Crypts are known to melt back a bit and these were no exception, but the roots were healthy and I had 100% survival despite the delayed shipping. Again, the delay was on USPS, NOT flip.
