I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the shrimp. They all arrived alive and well and became active immediately upon acclimation. All had great, rich color and were large in size. Got an extra shrimp in the bag, not sure if that was an accident. The parcel was well packed and arrived fairly quickly. Definitely recommend the seller.
5 Black Rose Shrimp
Out of all the shrimp I ordered here, these are my favorite! Ordering more of these right now, they seem to come in bigger than the cherry's and even the bloody mary's, great uniform color and very healthy looking. No DOA on any of the shrimp I ordered from this site so far, have had two orders. I handled shrimp within minutes after receiving the shipment, maybe that helps or perhaps I got lucky. Content customer here regardless, thanks.
I originally ordered my shrimp back in July of 2018, I meant to make this review much sooner but ended up having some personal things come up that have been taking up a lot of my time for the past year. I ordered a group of 5 of the shrimp in hopes to get a small breeding colony going. I had kept cherries in the past with decent success and was hoping to diversify. The group arrived very quickly which was nice, but upon arrival I had 1 DOA and the other 4 only lasted about 3 months. Color wise the shrimp could barely be called black. Two had large green stripes down their backs and were overall a dark green color, one was a blue color, and the third was just a dark cherry shrimp, the only one that looked black was the one that was DOA. I got one batch of what I assumed was babies out of the group but none of them ended up growing at all so I couldn't be sure. In the end I know that due to the fact that I took so long to make this review that nothing can really be done for me, but I figured I should still try to inform others so they hopefully don’t run into the same issues I have.
I would have given this a 5 but out of ten only six arrived alive and lost more the following day. They are a large and dark shrimp, of the remaining few most are black while others are more on the chocolate side.
