Calcium + Nutrition by KatsAquatics

Whether you're breeding top quality shrimp and snails, or you're keeping your inverts as part of your community, you definitely want the healthiest bottom dwellers possible. KatsAquatics tablets not only supply them with calcium they want so dearly, but dozens of other essential vitamins and minerals such as : Vitamins A, C, K1, B6, iron, and phosphorous for optimal nutrition.

Is this a food or a supplement?

  • The nutrition tablets are a staple food for your aquatic creatures!
  • They do not dissolve in the water, and will be consumed by your aquatic creatures.
  • Can be fed every day!

How are they red and green?

  • 100% naturally colored
  • Whole spinach provides green coloration
  • Whole beats provide red coloration

What animals eat them?

  • Neocaridina/Caridina shrimp
  • All aquatic snails (mystery/ramshorn/rabbit/all!)
  • Plecos and other bottom feeders
  • Any fish that loves to steal bottom feeder food!

The nutrition tablets are perfect for breeding colonies, and provide ample vitamins and minerals for baby shrimp and snails, as well as full grown adults. With two different types of calcium in one jar, you can ensure your crustaceans have a varied, and complete diet.

What Calcium + Nutrition Prevent?

  • calcium deprivation (nearly ALL aquarium inverts are calcium deprived)
  • weak, damaged shells
  • no more failed molts
  • prevent premature death

The aquarium hobby was meant to be enjoyable for everybody! That means you, and all of your aquatic pets. We have to stop the ongoing care deprivation of our scavenging critters. Don't be the hobbyists who starve their shrimp or snails - they are just as important as your "showcase" fish. Without their optimal health, your entire fish tank ecosystem will feel the effects too.

Encourages:

  • breeding
  • healthy youngster growth
  • strong beautiful shells
  • healthy, fulfilled ecosystem - just like mother nature intended

Mine were almost all green

I like that they hold together and aren't messy and my shrimp like them! My only complaint is there were hardly any red ones. If I wanted just calcium I would have purchased that one.

Calcium & Nutrition

I think they are over priced for the amount that you get. I don’t know if it’s doing anything. I thought by the picture it was a lot more product than what was actual in the jar.

Hi Doug!

We are so sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the amount of product included in the jar. We do hope the product works well for you! If there is anything we can do for you please let us know!

Snail loves it

My snail eats on it when she wants/ needs to and I never have to take any out of the tank bc of the size of them. They're a good size and if you need to you can snap them in half. My only "complaint" is that I thought the container would be bigger. Other than that it's a great product and helps get your animals what they need.

The item was out of stock

I received two other products instead, calcium and protein and calcium and immunity. Snails or fish aren't very interested in the calcium and protein. The calcium and immunity they'll pick on for a minute or two. I usually have to pick both out with my tweezers.
