Shrimp King Algae Pops is another great food for feeding shrimp. Algae pops quickly break down in the water to form a carpet or fine powder on the bottom of the shrimp tank. By doing this, the food is easily consumed by all the shrimp without the aggression usually seen during feeding.
Why Shrimp King is the Best Food for Breeding Shrimp:
Ingredients: Soya bran, Chlorella (4%), Nannochloropsis (1%)
Analytical constituents: Crude protein 16.9%, crude fat 4.2%, crude fibre 28.9%, crude ash 7.1%
My shrimp love these Pops.
I got them for my Opae Ula. After two feedings, I finally see some eat the algae pops during the day with lights on. But after the lights go out at night, they pretty much destroy it. I only put a very small amount as I only have about 60 of them.
Use in both my shrimp and small-fish tanks. They quickly sink and fluff out so they are easily consumed. My "critters" love them.
