20 Red Cherry Shrimp
All alive and well,, 3 were berried. Only one loss after day 3 in the tank, not sure what happened there. They demolished the Indian Almond leaf in the tank. Good stuff, i would highly recommend. Thanks Rob and Amanda!
I ordered 20 Red Cherry Shrimp late on a Saturday. I expected them to ship out on Monday but they were a little backed up for the week so they went out later. I still got my shrimp delivered by that Friday in very good condition. They sent out 5 extra shrimp (I lost 2 over the next few days which is expected so still ahead 3). And, at least 6 of them were carrying eggs. Within days I had already seen a baby that hatched in my tank. I am very satisfied with the purchase. They ship in breather bags so drip acclimate your shrimp. I have 4 other tanks set up with fish and a turtle, I find myself in front of the shrimp more than anything. And, they are easier on maintenance. So, looks like I'll be selling some fish and ordering more shrimp.
Best packaging I’ve ever seen, all arrived live with no deaths in the days to come. Nice mix of sizes and a couple berried.
Unfortunately the color was and is pretty yellowish orange. Other regular grade cherries I have received in the past were always red. I had hoped they would color ip once acclimated. They typically always do. Not these.
Orange shrimp. And not even that orange.
All came alive and even have extra baby shrimplets. Will order more thanks Flip Aquatics.
I requested for delivery to arrive while I was on vacation, and Rob and crew were able to accommodate - which I really appreciate! I do have to note when I opened up the package, the water was ice cold. Perhaps the heat pack was defective and lost its punch while the package was in transit. Initially, it looked like they were all dead, but the shrimp started to show signs of life as I flicked the bag. I quickly started to get them acclimated. Two were DOA and another two died during acclimation. It has only been two days and so far, no other deaths. Many of the females have saddles, so hopefully, they will breed the next time they molt. One female came carrying eggs already. There were also several shrimplets so that more than covered the four shrimp I lost. I would have given a four and a half star if possible - just not quite a five due to the cold water. Thank you!
