It is common practice for crystal breeders to use golden shrimp to enhance the overall white coloration of their crystal colonies. Due to the beautiful coloration it can hold, there are many breeders in the US that breed OEBT’s. The appearance of the shrimp is that of a standard tiger shrimp but also having orange eyes and a blue hue. The greatest set back with OEBT’s is that they do not breed true. Often times, they will breed blonde colored shrimp appose to a nice blue color.
