I adore this buddha nutpod. It's big, and just the right size I was looking for! I've only had for about a week, and it hasn't sank yet, but I'm sure it will! My aquatic life all seem to be enjoying it.
My shrimp love the nut. I broke up one of them into 3 pieces for my smaller tanks and have one whole one left. I notice they float should/can I soak it in a bucket of water for an upcoming tank project?
I was checking out the site after getting some other supplies and saw the Buddha Nut. Did was quick research and bought one within an hour of first seeing it. It is bigger than I thought about the size of a large orange. I have it in my 20 gallon that is home to several shrimp. There is always 4-5 shrimp in the "Hut". The Bamboo Shrimp really likes it and seems to head there after molting. A different deco for the tank and a good hide out when needed too.I will definitely pick up another one or two in my next order. I think my corys will love this too.
Was huge. More so then I thought it would be. My shrimp absolutely 💯 love it. Thanks again Jeff!
I thought these were going to be much smaller.. Y'all should take the photo next to a quarter or something! These are the size of my fist! Floated for a week and some change and then sank. Really gets a white Biofilm on it. Rinsed it off once but It cam back in a few days. Not very aesthetic.. Snails love it though, & one of my ADFs hides in it.
Thank you so much for the 4 star review! We are sorry the pod was larger than you expected. From your feedback we have added the sizes of the pod to the description. The biofilm growing on the pod is extremely beneficial for invertebrates as a natural food source. If you have any shrimp they will love it along with your snails. It will eventually go away once the snails have eaten it all. If you have any questions or concerns please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
